A Mother’s Day story featuring 2 BLU board members

“BALDWIN, Wis. – Mother’s Day is celebrated in a big way at Cedar Fen Farm in St. Croix County, Wisconsin. The mother-daughter sheep operation is in the thick of lambing, with new arrivals to mother at any moment.

The 150-acre farm south of Baldwin is operated by Heather Landin and her oldest daughter, Rose Landin, 26. Heather Landin, a chemical engineer, bought the farm in 1986 because, she said, she had a desire to farm. She raised her family there. Rose has younger siblings, twins Dan and Melissa Landin, 21.”
