This post applies to those who were active members of BLU in 2023, and those who have renewed for 2024. If you have not yet renewed, please be aware that on April 30, 2024, the registration fee will jump up to $35 from $20. As always, you can renew via mail paying by check or credit card OR you can renew via our new online portal. Members must create a login to access the system. Instructions are outlined below. This login will also allow members to access the BLU Pedigree Database (Sheep Search).
ACCESSING THE BLU ONLINE PEDIGREE DATABASE AND
REGISTRATION/TRANSFER SYSTEM
Go to the Members Area of the new online pedigree website:

On the Members Home page, click the link to Create New Members Area Account:

On this page, enter your email into the form and follow the instructions to set up your login account. Be sure to use the email associated with your BLU member record. You should then receive an email from the system with your initial password (randomly generated by the system.) Log in, then you can use the My Account link (upper right in the page header) to change your password if you want. If you forget your Username or Password, use the Forgot your password link below the Log In form to recover your Username or reset your Password.
After you have logged in, take a look at the Members List (to check your membership info) and the Sheep Search (pedigree database) pages using
the navigation tabs. The data shown is updated every two months, so that is how long it will take for new registrations/transfers to appear in the system.
You can try the Shopping Cart tab, which is where you can add an online membership renewal and/or sheep registration applications to your “cart.” This system is only able to accept payment via PayPal.
Please be aware that you must be a member in good standing (have paid your membership fees for the current year) in order to use the Online Pedigree Database. Please also take note (or be reminded): after April 30, the fee for Adult membership jumps from $20 to $35. Members who have not renewed by April 30 are subject to removal from the Membership List.
